February 17th

(Friday)

Warm up with a bowl of chili at the Annual Chili Dinner Event on Friday, February 17th at the Active Living Center in Jim Barnett Park. Our celebrity waiters will be dishing out chili from 5:30 - 8pm and there will be live entertainment to keep the party going.

 

We look forward to this event every year and thank our friends at R & L Foods Inc (Wendy's), Royal Crown Bottling, Action Concrete Supplies, and Gaunt's Drug Store for their generous donations that make it possible. Please join us and make it a success!

 

Tickets are on sale at Gaunt's Drug Store on 1 Valley Avenue, Edward Jones Investments at 603 E. Jubal Early Drive, Summit Community Bank on 100 W. Jubal Early Drive, and Auto Tech Service Center on 669 N. Loudoun Street in Winchester, VA.

The Chili Dinner

Mmmmmm, chili in February,that will warm you right up. Every year we look forward to this event where our celebrity waiters come out to server you chili, salad, and beverages generously donated from Wendy's, Martins, Costco, Royal Crown Bottling and more. We light up the stage with various talent including appearances from Tara Jackson and The Consonants.

Our Big Event

Who knew donating money could be so fun? Every year with the help of a friend of the Evans Home, we throw a great party with great entertainment, fine dining, and all of our friends.

Annual Doll Auctions

We are on our 41st annual doll auction this year! That's right, for 41 years special members of our community have donated their time, effort and creativity to dress up these gorgeous porcelain dolls that we then auction off to raise money to support our children.

WINC Chain of Checks
Henry & William Evans Home for Children was named the recipient of the WINC Chain of Checks fundraiser 2003 which raised a total of $72,030.46 Evans Home will use the money raised to complete the construction of the 
"Lloyd House" - a building where former Evans Home residents can live during the holidays or at other times.
